Tampa Bay Picks Up Goalie From Nashville

The Tampa Bay Lightning fixed one potential problem next year by acquiring goalie Anders Lindback from the Nashville Predators on Friday. The Lightning have not had a strong goalie in a long time but Lindback can provide them some stability in the back end next year. With Dwayne Roloson, who made 31 starts for the Lightning this season, being an unrestricted free agent this summer this was a very smart move for the organization. The Lightning also acquired forward Kyle Wilson and a 2012 seventh-round pick with the 24-year-old goaltender. Nashville got goalie Sebastien Caron, two second-round selections in this month’s draft and a 2013 third-round pick from Tampa Bay.
